@XoNatalieXo5227: In regards to your pills question, most allergies to medication are not inherited and should not be a reason for you to not have appropriate antibiotics for any condition.
@XoNatalieXo5227: Sunburn causes exfoliation which is why it helps acne. However, the damage caused by the sun when you incur the sunburn causes problems far greater than the benefit for your acne, especially considering there are many safe ways to improve your acne without damaging your skin.
Neil- i have a normal t-zone and dry everywhere else. I never get multipule pimples in one spot, but my acne is symmetrical. I have never had a blackhead or a whitehead. when i went on a cruies i got a sunburn on my face and my acne cleared up, whats the reason for that? oh and my mother wont let me take pills for acne since she was allergic and had a terrible reaction to them. What should i use for my skin? how ami breaking out if my skins dry?

@misslostinthoughts: It’s really great that you are trying to help her. As a start, check out See DermTV episode 124, “Acne Treatment in Three Easy Steps.” If that info is not sufficient to help her, then it is best for her to see a dermatologist to get her on the right treatment plan as she may need a combination of topical products and or oral medications for acne.
@misslostinthoughts you say she is washing her face alot. Is she following her cleanser with an oil-free moisturizer for acne? Overwashing can make the skin very dry, which makes the skin overproduce even more oil in an attempt to compensate, which can make acne worse. At 12 her hormones are probably already producing too much oil; overwashing will make it worse.
Hey there neal,My sister is 12 and she has really bad acne, she has at least 15 pimples or black heads on her face.I can tell that it hurts.she washes her face with but nothing seems to work salciyac acid,or natural treatments. Her skin is oily and kind of a bad skin odor, how can I help her?
Neal!
What do you want me to swallow my accutane pills with if i don’t really fix the timing of taking it with a meal?
And please Neal, how can i make my redness fade as quickly as possible? Thankyou!!!!
@nelly2395: It seems that the 5% benzoyl peroxide aqua gel is too irritating and drying for you. You would probably be best off sticking with the cream formula as you know it works for you but wait until the rough spots are gone. To help fix the rough spots, some people use an oil free moisturizer four times a day.
yh ive been having a few red bumps on my forehead they starting appearing after i used benozyl peroxide 5% aquagel im not allergice to it as the cream version cured all my acne but this has caused rough spots.WHAT SHALL I DO i am so scared they will turn into pimples-i dont want to have a spotty foreahead again although i have stopped using it.(i have normal to dry skin)

@XoNatalieXo5227: In regards to your breakouts and dry skin, dry skin is an absence of water and is not related to the excess of oil involved in acne. They are two independent conditions.
